Food for the soul

Music. Sweet sweet music. I listen to the dulcet tones of Maya's tenor saxophone and it moves me. Even those not so dulcet tones move me. She has talent, it's very apparent. Unfortunately, she's as much of a perfectionist as her older brother so she gets very angry at herself when she misses a note. Encouragement from me, the unmusical one, doesn't mean much to her. I wish it did, I really love listening to her play. The improvement in a month is astounding. Oh, and I must share (bragging mom alert) that she got a perfect score on her playing test last week. Ahhh. Definitely a joyful noise :D

Ooh, I LOVE the Sax! And WTG Maya :) I played the Bassoon and my mother called it listening to a "dying cow in labor"
